@ Fubar, motor swaps are $3.5, say you get the car for $15k, you buy a motor, and for the total cost of $18.5k you have a car worth $31k. 40% starting cost was well thought out.

Not disputing costs but to me given its age its a restoration not a build lol

And if we had an aged-based or usage-based diminutive value system, you'd be spot on. But that would be an amazing pain in the ass for us to constantly have to figure out a car's or a part's value based on it's age and level of use. Regardless of the year a car was made or when a part was purchased, here they have a static value. A stock BMW 2002 is worth $31k today, and if you own it a year, it is still worth $31k.
