X's Garage Update - 10/5/14

It's been months since I've set foot on American Soil. I've been hanging out with my Bro's in Japan for the past 9 months and with the street drift scene in California poppin again i thought it was time i went back. I called up a buddy of mine who owned a local drift mag and we chatted for abit before he offered to hire me as a photographer again. So i sold both my PS13 daily and SC400 drift car and with that money got setup with a nice studio apartment near his office with a private garage. As soon as i got back i was on craigslist trying to find a ride. I searched typical things like PS13's or AE86's but what i got was too beat for me or too nice to beat. But then i stumbled upon a post with the title "2005 Ford Mustang GT - Lightly Modded". It was priced at 24,000 obo. It was a bit too far into my price range but i couldn't resist looking at it. I clicked the link to find it was a private car lot was having a sale on some of there cars, and when i saw the paint and the stickers I knew the car right away. It was my buddy Louis' Mustang! I called the owner of the shop and am going to pick it up tonight. Wish me luck they didn't f*ck it up!

X's Garage Update - 10/5/14 - Night

Pick'ed up my new Mustang and she's fellin alright.

2nd gear rips hard!!!

The 4.6L is good but i could tell it was a little down on power. But then.............

I blew a headgasket. Now it comes down to the part were i keep trying to skid this car which means i would try to invest in a new motor or find another car and skid that one.

(I tried to replicate Cougar's car best i could)

X's Garage Update - 10/7/14

So, i broke down and spent the last two days replacing everything on the Mustang maintenance wise and she's running like a champ again. But now that she's gonna be my DD there will b no skidding but maybe the occasional hoonage. I'm thinking of some normal bolt-on's and maybe a 2.3 TVS Supercharger. Now on to the real news, my buddy MichealC has been working as an importer for the past few months while we were rooming together with the rest of the crew. we skyped the other day and he said that he recently shipped over a few cars and that when i got the chance to go down to the docks. So I went down the next day with a buddy of mine and was greeted by a Red JDM Altezza!!! So when i got all the paperwork done we went to a near by abandoned warehouse/parking lot and did some skid racing.

So, I'm thing Coils, Wheels, Kit and Stickers, then maybe some engine work. Then on to getting some Boltons for the Mustang.
