| MY STORYPart 1- Spoiler:
So I finally arrive in Europe after my long trip and hard times packing up and selling most of my belongings to fund the trip. As soon as I arrived at the airport I went to go get my rental car so I could check out the scenery and go look at my new house. I forgot how much Europe cared about fuel economy and economic cars in general. So the rental I was given was one of those new FIAT 500's Needless to say it was a pretty sweet little ride haha! It was getting late and dark and I was tired from my long trip. So I decided to call it a night. I will need to find myself a car tomorrow so I don't have to pay for this rental much longer. Hopefully things work out well for me. I sacrificed a lot for this! Here are a few pics I decided to take of the rental and the scenery haha
Part 2- Spoiler:
So I woke up the next morning on a mission to find a new car. I drove and drove from city to city checking dealerships. Found a few promising rides but nothing that really stood out to me. I started to get a slight feeling this may be a bit tougher than I had expected! I spent nearly all day searching just to come up empty. So sad and defeated I headed back to my apartment to rest and just lounge around and enjoy the view of my beautiful new neighborhood. Maybe tomorrow will bring me better luck! Part 3- Spoiler:
"Today is THE day". I told myself as I got out of bed in the morning. I hopped in the little FIAT and cruised around some more looking for cars. I also did a bit of searching on the internet the night before on some used car sites so I had a few houses I wanted to stop by and speak to some people about cars I may potentially want. As I was headed down to look at one of the cars I was interested in I passed this house. The grass wasn't well kept and needed to be cut! But through all the shrubs and tall grass I saw the nose of a R32 Skyline GT-R poking out! I immediately turned around at the next intersection. I must ask these people about this car! I pulled up to the house. It almost seemed abandoned. I figured I would give it a shot anyway and knocked on the door. An elderly gentleman answered the door and greeted me. I apologized for disturbing him and then proceeded to ask about the Skyline. He bought it brand new back in 1989 and had it imported because he wanted to build it as a track car. He never got around to it so he just let it sit. The car is still in stock condition, just a bit dirty from sitting around too much. I asked him if he would be willing to sell it and he was more than happy to let it go! He wanted $13,000 for it which is NOT bad at all for the condition it is in! So of course I bought it! My project is looking like less of a project now that I don't have to fix anything! Here are some pics I took of it at his house! I am gonna order a few parts with the money I have left from my car buying budget to get this thing to where I want it!
