-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Story-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Spoiler:
The Beginnings and one SVT - Spoiler:
Who am I? The question that I always fought with and the answer that lead me here. I always loved racing and I chased it whenever I could. I had heard about a festival for drivers that was one of the best in the world. That took me to Colorado. I stayed there for a few years before the festival came to Europe. I decided to follow the festival, though I couldn't take my cars with me. After selling what I could and parting the rest, I purchased my plane ticket and moved over to Europe in hopes of getting in on the action. I was too late to race in the festival, but it was amazing to just watch the cars. After picking up a few jobs to drive for some people, I finally saved up enough cash to buy my own car. After piddling around a few car lots, I decided on a 90's Cobra R. I loved that car and drove her for months before I parted with her to find something even better.
The Rabbit - Spoiler:
After a while, I decided to look around some car meets. The festival was long over as the summer had ended, but that didn't mean that the cars had all disappeared. After poking around a few car meets, I found a good deal on a classic VW Rabbit which became my daily for quite a while. I drove her for a few months before that sunshine turned to storms in a tragic accident that followed in her wake.
The Flip - Spoiler:
I was driving along looking for a shop I had heard of a few hours away in another city. I was hoping to get some good deals on some body mods for my Rabbit. It had been storming for a few hours and was the middle of the night, but I decided to go ahead and start my journey anyways. As I was driving on the interstate, I got hit by a car that seemed to be rather in a hurry. I wound up losing control of my car from the force of the impact and was sent straight into the guardrail to my right. By some stroke of luck, the rail held strong, but that sent my car into barrel rolls down the road. After my car was almost totaled out, I called a tow truck to pick it up and continued on to the city. In the chaos, I forgot to look for the mods I wanted. I did look around some scrapyards for parts, and found a discount parts store that sold me a package for my rabbit. The trip may have started badly, but it definitely was looking up. I decided that I needed a vacation though, and took a trip back to Colorado to visit some old friends while my Rabbit was stuck in the shop.
A New Story for an Old Car - Spoiler:
After I returned to Europe, I went around some of the car meets with my Cobra until I found a man who was looking for a trade. Little did I know what I was getting into. I had my Cobra listed as being for sale, and he offered to trade me his old Cr-x SiR that he drove. I thought it was fair until he asked for money out of my pocket. I became a little weary of the trade when I heard that. However, I realized why after looking around the car and seeing what was under the hood. That car was worked! I was looking for a new car anyways, so I got in and tried her out. She drove amazing, and sounded great. After handing him the keys to my Cobra plus 500 out of my pocket, he called it a deal and gave me his keys. I was stoked for my new car! I drove her around and began to think. That's when I started to realize what I wanted to do.
It's a Car, a Shop, a Team, Oh My! - Spoiler:
I was becoming bored just piddling around the car meets and junk yards, so I began looking around Europe for some open garages that I could purchase. It was quick or easy, but I finally found a nice little shop just outside of San Giovanni that was perfect. I few signatures later, I was quickly opening my own shop and parts store. I was excited! I started signing people up, or attempting to. After one other individual joined on, we began running the shop and mostly having small, local racing teams come in to have tunings done on their cars. It was great, and I began trying to form my own racing team.
The Drifter - Spoiler:
I was looking for a good AWD car to make a race car, but couldn't find anything within my price range. I did find a Nissan 240SX however. I looked at the price of the car, and I began looking at it. After some inspection I got excited. The owner's friends tried to talk him into raising the price because of how worked the car was, but I immediately offered all the cash I had on me. The guy jumped on the offer. I was so happy, and after I got her registered, I drove her back to the shop and began working on some tuning. After I felt comfortable with what I had done, I took her down to some old roads and docks that I knew of, and I threw her around some corners. She handled great, I had fallen in love. I couldn't have been happier with my newest purchase!
America Comes Back - Spoiler:
Still on my quest for an AWD car to make a team racing car, I found a few interesting offers, sadly I could scrape together the money for them. I resorted to trying to either trade my Cr-x to the or sell it to make some money. I didn't have any luck with that, but I did run into a man who I would become (somewhat) friends with who showed interest in my rabbit that I was selling cheaply due to it's age. I figured that no one would buy it for anywhere near it's original value, so I lowballed a price. The guy offered me a much higher price than I'd been hoping for, so I took the deal immediately. When he heard about my Cr-x being up for sale or trade, he began thinking about an offer and finally offered to trade it for his 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8! Was I excited! I hadn't driven muscle like that since I moved to Europe. I quickly said yes and we made the trade. I also found a man selling a Jeep Wagoneer for a good price, so I purchased that out of lack of a good truck to haul parts. It turned out to be a great truck!
It Finally Happened - Spoiler:
I finally found an AWD car to make a racing care, but I also found a great new daily. After some poking around, I had someone come to me with an offer after seeing I was after an AWD car. We talked about it and I let him se my garage. He seemed excited whenever he saw the Challenger sitting in there. He looked at it and quickly offered me a Subaru Impreza WRX STI which would become my new daily. To my [rather pleasant] surprise though, he offered me his R32. The original Godzilla! How could I turn down that offer! I accepted it and we drove out to get the cars. I had my buddy bring his trailer and we hooked it up to the wagoneer and drover off. My buddy in the wagoneer, and the seller and I in the Challenger. I drover there to give a final goodbye to her before parting ways.
After we arrived, I looked at the cars. They were absolutely beautiful. I took the keys to the subby and drove her onto the trailer. I would drive her soon enough. After parking and strapping the car down, I got the keys to Godzilla and began admiring my trade. I was so excited to finally drive her. I finally gave my thanks for the trade, told my friend that I'd meet him at my garage, and hopped into my new R32. I left the garage and flew home. I decided that she needed a new paint job, so I quickly put her into the spray booth with new rims on order. She came out looking better than ever.
