So got out to the Land Down Under a couple of days ago, but just picked up my 1st car out here...

1992 Nissan Silvia (S13) Club K's:

This car in 100% stock with a SR20det and really low miles... I have plans for this street car

Update on the Nissan S13:

Was able to get my hands on a set of Raceland Coilovers and Whiteline Front & Rear Sway Bar. The car handles like a dream. Sometime tomorrow I'm going to pull her out and do some testing to get the suspension dialed in.

Awesome, wish I coulda made it! Having weird boost cut problems with the Monte. Who could've guessed that bolting two turbos and the intercooler from an Evo X onto a 305 would be problematic? Hope this new new fuel pump and bigger injectors will sort it out.

Hope it does work. We need to take them back to the street again.

Been spending a little time today at the old air strip getting some runs in on the 1 mile. I'm putting down a 33.744 @ 157mph. The problem I'm having is at the launch. Lots of wheel spin in 1st and spins mid though 2nd gear, but it's a fun little street car.

So I've been staying with a friend for awhile and thought it might be time to get my own place. I liked his set up, but needed a bigger driveway. I think it has so driveway room to have people over and work on car, also has a extra cover garage to park the next project ;-)

Haven't posted anything in awhile so I'll start with the new 2000 Nissan Silvia Spec-R that is going to be my VD1SL Sponsored Car that was dropped off at the house last week. There was no engine or transmission when it was dropped off, just a rolling shell.

Right after it was dropped off IAS Performance came and pick her up and off for the full build. Didn't get any picture of the build cause it has been a busy week, but here is the after picture at IAS Performance that they sent me.

Thank You!

So IAS Performance just dropped off the S15 back at the house. Major upgrade from the stock SR20det to the LS3 ;-)
Now time to take it over and get the graphics put on then start working on tune.

And then headed over the parking lot for a little slidewaysness...

Saw this beauty in the parking lot too...

Just had a box shipped to the house from Arsye (MnM Boneyard) Storker Kit Parts Package, just waiting for the car to show up, hoping tomorrow morning...

Update:

Guy backed out of the new project that I was going to pick up. I thought it was loaded up and on it's way... Nope! Glad I wanted to see the car before paying him the money, but good news. I went ahead and bought a LS3 to put some build time in.

Update 2:

So after a lot of ups and downs I got the S13 w/ SR20det running pretty good. Heading down to the strip today after installing the new Precision Turbo and a couple of parts that just came in. I was going to drop the LS3 in, but this SR20det is performing very well right now. So I was at the strip and was able to put down 30.440 @ 175 mph. That was a better then last time were I ran a 33.744 @ 157 mph.

Took a little drive out to the Pink Lake in the west side on the Dry Reservoir. Very nice open drive. Got up to so good speeds on the open roads out there, but took a break to snap this picture of the Ormiston Gorge.

After the little drive though the Dry Reservoir area I made my way down to the Yarra Valley Rainforest Circuit for the Time Attack. Ran a 01:08.535. Felt like I had a good pace going on, but we'll see tomorrow when they post the results. Here is a couple shots of the S13 at the Time Attack today.

Just got my built long block SR20det back. All the internals are Brian Crower. I thought about a Stroker Kit, but I just really wanted to keep the stock bore. I drop the engine back in, bolted everything back up. Sounds really good. I have a redline of 8,000 rpms now. Took it over to IAS Performance and we ran it on the Dyno. It's now putting down 512 hp @ 7,500 rpm with 24 psi of boost. Pretty fun little car now.

So, my VD1SL Nissan S15 was stolen yesterday and they were caught down in Byron Bay. Car was pretty messed up. So I'll be using my street car for the VD1SL this season

Made another buy last week. Been wanting to get my hands on something new and faster. Picked up this Fire Engine Red 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C5) with a LS6. It drives like a dream. So I still had money left of from the buy so it was time for parts... LOL

Now I have a 788hp Supercharger Street Beast Z06.
