| Finally got around to doing some body work on the Jeep, got the primer on and it turns out the paint i wanted wasn't right, decided to just run it in primer! Suits it quite well, took it out for a run for a browse in the local scrapyard and it started raining on the way back. All the prep undone! | |

| So today i finally picked up the Dodge from the scrapyard, finally my first proper car, my first proper project! It won't be a numbers matching vehicle as it comes without an engine. Luckily the yard had a spare engine there as they were somewhat abit of a Mopar specialist, also got a pair of OEM Rallye wheels too. Taking it back to the garage at home and starting the work stripping her down. Body work prep started with a clean, looked like the first one she'd had in a while. The picture was taken just before we opened up the doors to the shop and wheeled her in. Thankfully the faithful old steed valiantly struggled home with the Hemi and wheels in the back! One hell of a journey at a snails pace. With the resto starting immediately, expect to see the car back out, running by the weekend! | |

| The Wagoneer moved onto pastures new today, it served me well but its time for a proper works truck. I'm starting my own Body/Paint/Customs shop and need to commercial vehicles to do so. This Holden HQ van is perfect for work but still fits in with the classic look and feel! A few graphics to be put on the side for advertisement when the time/money allows but after that, the hunt for project cars begins! | |

| So, after the completeion of the Challenger, i took it out for a quick run out in the desert. You know, just to keep things moving and fresh. On the way back i passed the Used car Dealership, my eyes were instantly fixated on one particular car. A 1990 Jaguar XJ-S, 5.2 litre engine (post HE introduction), mechanically sound, exterior abit grubby under some nice British Racing Green paint. Rust bubble sunder the front screen, jacking points and wheel arches. Typical XJ-S stuff. Somebody had put aftermarket HRE rims on plus some coilover suspension and sporty exhaust. Anyway, the plan is to return her to almost original condition. Few bits can stay, but the suspension and rims will need changing, not my style at all! My fathers, sisters ex had a facelifted XJS in bright yellow with factory bodykit. I'll be taking influence from that but not as...garish? Stopped a few mins from my house to get a few shots on the main road, stunner! | |

| With the restoration of the XJ-S done, i got a call off a contact in the local Jag dealer. They wanted to put my car on display for a few days! A huge honour and an opportunity to show off my hard work while still advertising the buisness. So, with a change of direction in my plans, its time to say goodbye to the Challenger. I took her out for one last ride tonight and it was quite a sombre moment but it should make way for something that should replace the gap filled. One of my all time dream cars is next on my bucket list, but some more saving and some more hunting is required. I've heard of a few going around the area, but time will tell which i can get my hands on! I'll miss that Hemi rumble. | |
