October 11, 2018

Well I've been in country for about 8 days and notice there is a lot of racing going on here. Met up with a old friend at the sign-ups, Keira. We met back in Australia when I was there for work, but started racing on the side. Her friend Recbecca is a Horizon Champion and is showing me around. She is talking about getting me into the Road Racing area for sign-ups. So I started looking around for a ride and ended up finding a imported 2010 Nissan 350Z from the USA (Houston Area). The 370Z has a stock VQ37VHR 3.7 V6 with 332 hp and 270 ft-lb. Been staying at the house that Mike bought to film a part of his movie that he is working, but it doesn't have a garage so I can start working on the Z so I guess I'm going to have to find a friend or a shop with a open bay I can use from here and there. It's in Cotswolds, England, country of Worcestershire in a village of Broadway. Nice quite area. Snapped a couple of pictures of the Z at the house.

Car:
-$27,600 - 2010 Nissan 370Z
Total: $27,600

Specs:
Horsepower: 332 hp
Torque: 270 ft-lb
Weight: 3,267 lbs

-Engine:
Engine: VQ37VHR

-Platform & Handling

-Drivetrain:
Transmission: FS6R31A 6-Speed

-Tires & Rims
Front: 245/40R19
Rear: 275/35R19

Finally find a place to work on my 370Z for now. Just right around the corner from the house I'm staying at in the Broadway Area. It has enough room for what I need to do for now.

I was able to pickup a set of BC Racing Springs & Dampers (Race) for the 370Z and while installing those I removed the Spare Tire and a couple other things that I didn't need in the car the lighten up some.

Parts Bought:

After running around town on stock rims and tires, it was time for a change. Stopped by the Horizon Garage and picked up a set of WedsSport TC 105 N Rims wrapped in BG Goodrich G-Force Tires (Sport) and to make them sit well on the 370Z I installed 2" Track Width on the front, and 3" Track Width on the rear. That stance looks pretty good now. With the BC Springs & Dampers (Race) and these BG Goodrich Tires (Sport) the Z handles some much better.

Parts Bought:
$1,000 - BF Goodrich G-Force Tires (Sport)
$2,000 - WedsSport TC 105 N Rims
$100 - Front Track Width
$100 - Rear Track Width
Total: $3,200

Car: 2010 Nissan 370Z

Specs:
Horsepower: 332 hp
Torque: 270 ft-lb
Weight: 3,183 lbs

Engine:
Engine: VQ37VHR

Platform & Handling:
Springs & Dampers: BC Racing (Race)
Weight Reduction: (Street)

Drivetrain:
Transmission: FS6R31A 6-Speed
Differential: NISMO (Race)

Tires & Rims:
Tires: GF Goodrich G-Force (Sport)
Rims: WedsSport TC 105 N Rims
Front: 275/35R19
Rear: 275/35R19
Front Track Width: 2"
Rear Track Width: 3"
