September 15, 2015 Update: On September 15, 2015 I picked up my first car for the track every since I stop racing and doing trackdays back in 2013. So here she is, my 2004 Honda Civic Type-R: K20a with 212hp @ 8,000rpm and 149lb-ft @ 7,000rpm. Today I brought here out to Austin, Texas to do some laps at Circuits of the America and see what kind of times I can get with this stock Type-R.

Here is a shot from Turn 1 @ Circuits of the America

Braking hard into Turn 11 @ Circuits of the America

So after about 5 laps and 1/2 tank of gas gone this little Type-R did better then I thought it would. With pulling off a 02:41.345 around COTA and handling pretty good, time to start put in work to see where we can get this little Type-R.

All ready got the Suspension Package from Yardwrekz Discount Warehouse waiting to be installed when I get back to the garages and going to pull the guts out and install these Sparco seat.

Update: So with the Suspension package from Yardwrekz Discount Warehouse.
Coilovers: Buddy Club N+
Front Sway Bar:
Rear Sway:
Strut Tower Bar: Spoon Sports
Weight Reduction: Gutted Interior with Sparco Seat and Steering Wheel
Losing a total of weight at 337 lbs. Time to do some tuning and back on the track...

Update 2: After installing the parts and some minor tuning I was able to get a 02:36.636 around COTA dropping 04.709 secs off the stock tuning time. Not to bad for no engine work.

Coming down the back straightway @ COTA after Trun 11

October 13, 2015 Update: Just got the Fuel System and Brakes in today.

Fuel System: K-Tuned (Race)
Brakes: Brembo (Race)

Going to install these parts Dyno and hit the track at COTA for some times...

Update: Just got back from the dyno and off the track. Put down a 02.26.535. Dropped .933 from the last time I ran at COTA. I think she is dialed in pretty good right now. After the dyno run, the numbers that the Type-R put down was 305 hp @ 8,000rpm and 214 lb-ft @ 7,000rpm.

Shot from the Track @ COTA

October 15, 2015 Update: Bought myself car number 2 for the track. This time I went AWD. 1997 Nissan Skyline R32. She has a RB26DETT with 278 hp @ 4,500rpm and 271 lb-ft @ 6,300rpm. Just took it around the track at Circuits of the America for the first time and ran a 02.35.041 all stock. not to bad, but I can see that we are going to need some wreck time on this one.

Here is my 1997 Nissan Skyline R32 @ COTA
