| welcome to my horizon garage yes i finally hit colorado on what turned out to be a great afternoon, and i had already lined up a car to look at it was a nice stock s15 and when i rocked up it was even better than what i had seen in the pictures he sent me it was immaculately maintained. so pretty much straight away i handed him what he wanted for it which was 16k we shook hands signed the papers n got my new keys, then i got directions off him to the nearest petrol station and thought why not fill it up and take it for a spin, now i hadnt organised anywhere to stay so it was off to a friends house that i knew lived around where i was all i had to do was find it knew it was on gladstone drive somewhere so i drove around for a bit and there it was with the blue evo out front dragz place, we had a look at the cars for a bit n stuff n then i was too tired so it was onto the couch for me before i knew it i passed out didnt even get a chance to take any pics of the new ride, lol nissan S-15 silvia - S-15 pics:

| old bnb update- update 1:
so after staying at dragz house for about a week or so while i got all my money and furniture transferred and sorted i thought to myself geez maybe i better start looking for a house so it was off to buy the paper and i wasnt far out of the driveway when i spotted a auction going on up the street so i walked up the massive driveway which gets shared with another two places i got up there to have a look see if it was worth it or not upon getting up there i realised it was a gorgeous place neatly hidden away in the back of gladstone, it had a double garage out front with enough room for 2 or 3 visitor parking, and all the obvious things you would need in a house. it even had a great guest room in case anyone stayed over, so i stayed to watch the grueling auction and i thought this place would go for a bundle and i only had 250k to spend on a house but to my suprise nobody even made a bid and after it was over the real estate agent asked if anyone would like to make an offer to just see him about it, so i walked up and asked him what price range the owners wanted for the house as i didnt want to offend them by immediately offering my 250k as the house was worth alot more IMO, but he replied with "the owners just want it gone they inherited it and have no need for it", so i said "ok offer them my 250k and if they are happy with that i can sign a cheque right now and they will never have to look at it again" 2 minutes later he was back WITH THE PAPERWORK :)it was a deal all i had to do was sign which i did straight away then we shook hands and it was done and now i am a happy resident of gladstone drive just down the road from dragz and a few of the other guys, so after letting dragz know i wouldnt be staying there anymore although i wouldnt be far away anyway. i rang the movers and got them to deliver all my stuff to my new house. after that i cruised down got some take away for dinner then come home and crashed on the couch heres a pic i snapped before it got to dark p.s sorry for the long update

| old bnb update - update 2:
so after waking up early last monday morning after finalising all the house paperwork on the sunday i decided its time to get a job i may have a house and car but of course there will be other things ill need, straight away mechanic jumps into my mind, so it was off for a drive to see what was around after stopping in carson for some breakfast i spotted a small little workshop on the corner called DR DRIFT which specialised in jdm cars and drift cars , im guessing it was small due to the lack of jdm cars around, so i pulled in and had a chat to the bloke, dave his name was we chatted for about half hour just about my s15 and how he was so glad he had found someone who owned a jdm car as he owned a nice 240sx which usually it sits there more than it gets driven ,i told him i know a few ppl that drive jdm and euro and that if he done good work on my car that id be happy to refer them to him, he then asked me if i do any mechanics myself as he had spotted that i had modded my s15 a little i told him i was fully qualified and most of my experience came with jdm and euro cars but i could also do a muscle car as well, straight away he asked if i was looking for full time work as he was looking for someone i jumped on the offer straight away so now whenever you drive past DR DRIFT in carson dont be afraid to stop in for a quote or even to say hi here is the s15 in her current glory at front of work with a set of brand new 19inch WORK cRkai rims which were ordered in and then wrapped in achilles 235/40/19 and also i swapped out the sr20det for a bone stock rb26dett that we had at work all up it cost me a bit but now it is going and looking the goods this pic was just before leaving work on friday first day driving it with the rb26 in it, also got rego plates to suit as well [/center] update again soon

| Old bnb update UPDATE 3 - Spoiler:
so anyway i was at a cafe on lunch browsing the paper for a new house which i found a decent suitable house in beaumont for a nice a price to go look at, so after work i headed down in the s15 and as i pulled up noticed i had been here before, it was right next door to ballers house geez what a small world :Plol, but it only made me want the place more, so i went in had a look and it was perfect ,a nice small double story house very cosy feel to it in what looked to be a good neighbourhood, it had a double garage as well and a alleyway rear entry it was great so i got down to making an offer, and after what i got from selling my other place 200k they said they wouldnt go far off that so i made the nice offer of 189k and it was a done deal , i already had my boss dave organised with his personal truck to pick up my stuff from my old place so it was just a matter of ringing him up and telling him to drop my stuff straight here instead of it going into storage, heres a snap i took of daves truck at my new place i love his f-100
UPDATE 4 - Spoiler:
so after dave doing me the favour of helping me move in to my new house he rocks up at my new place and asks me if i will help him relocate the shop to its new location in bunker, of course i said yes, but did joke about saying no to him cause i cbf'd lol he came way to early in the morning, so after having a coffee we headed to the old workshop in carson and started packing up the work truck and daves personal ute up and also having a few movers take the things we couldnt load, like the dyno machine etc after everything was packed and we said our goodbyes to the old workshop and the cafe next door we headed down to bunker and upon arrival into the town i thought geez this workshop will be worse than the last one which was to small but we actually got the best looking place in bunker pretty big compared to the last one as well there is a few other shops around but they didnt look as good visual wise, so we moved everything in and got a few of the main things sorted like power, and setting up the tools and compressor again, then dave turns and asks if i just wanna head back to his n crash on his couch for the night, and of course being tired as hell i took up his offer and just left the work truck at work and went with dave to his place when we got to daves i thought yeah sweet as a fellow man cave thinking dave was single, HOWEVER this was not the case i walked in and was greeted by daves wife julie and there stunning daughter krystal who was around my age wasnt sure if she was single but i didnt see a ring , dave turns to me and says i thought i would introduce you to my wife julie who will be doing the books at work and krystal who will also be helping out here and there, julie had made a great lamb roast for dinner for us all dave had obviously planned this as my plate was at the table when i got there, so we ate and all got to know each other over dinner julie had been doing part time waitressing at a cafe but was sick of it and was just waiting for the workshop to pick up so she could work there full time, krystal is a part time hairdresser also into cars who is now finished her studying and needs more work she reckons, and dave as i found out is a family man who's ambition has been his workshop which is now just getting into full swing, after dinner and a nice talk i was too buggered to do anything else but go to bed and sleep so i got dave to show me where i was sleeping and he took me to the guest room where i pretty much just fell asleep soon as i jumped into bed. upon waking up in the morning julie had made an awesome big breakfast for us all, and after me and dave were done he asked me if i wanted the day off today as i was pretty sure he did as well although we would still go to the shop to finish setting up a few things, so it was decided i asked krystal if she could give me a lift home as she was on her way out to work anyway we went out to the driveway and she had this cool little v-dub corrado with ats mags on it as her daily it went quite well anyway we got back to mine and as i was getting out she handed me a lil piece of paper with her number on it saying you might need this if you want to take me out sometime, i was pretty stoked to say the least ,but also thought maybe i better make sure this is ok with dave before i do, anyways i went inside had a shower n stuff then it was off again to the workshop so i hopped in the s15 and cruised down there, upon arrival a few of the other workshop owners in the area came over to greet us and ended up having a bbq and showing off each others cars, then as me n dave started to setup the other guys jumped straight up and said sweet lets do it n get it done and finally have a decent drift shop in bunker, before we knew an hour later pretty much everything was setup the way we wanted it, the guys were great so i offered myself up and said im going to get drinks and meat for us all and we can have a good old drink up and a bqq for dinner to say thanks, so after a few drinks and a feed at the end of the night me and dave were about to leave when i called him over and asked would it be ok if i took his daughter out once i got to know her a bit more, and at first i thought he was going to punch my lights out, but then he just laughs at me and says yeah good luck with that diva, i was happy to get his approval on that at least so i would wait a bit then ask her out , so all in all it was a great first day at the workshop even though no work got done to any car whatsoever, also i need a new set of tyres for the s15 now, heres a pic of the new workshop nothing much to look at but we do great work and have alot more room now heres a pic dave snapped of me frying the tyres on the s15 at the end of the night before i left
UPDATE 5 - Spoiler:
i got home after having a great first day at the new shop lil tipsy still so had a shower to freshen up and finally sat down to read the paper again to browse the cars section as i had 11k spare from the house sale still in the bank and was looking for a nice cruiser then there it was the first one i had seen for sale in colorado since i got here a 1973 mazda rx3 in what looked to be pristine condition so next morning off it was to go and have a look dave and i got there and the guy wasnt wrong this beast looked like it had been rebuilt with every nut n bolt replaced on it, perfect paint redone in nice stock white, and the nice stock rotor buzzing idle, even stock wheels, i immediately wanted it but the guy knew what he had there and wanted 15k for it. i kindly asked if we could come to a compromise, after all he knew i would look after it as he saw the s15 sittin pretty with the rb in it so i asked if he would do it for 11k cash he ummed an ahhed a bit but then finally agreed, i was wrapped as all i had to do was sign the papers and it was mine, then i got the boss dave to jump in the s15 and cruise it back to my joint while i followed with the rx3 just slowly cruising it home i was pretty suprised by the amount of people that would actually pull up next to me just admire it in its standard form it gets more looks than the s15 atm :)heres a snap i got of the rx3 when i rocked up to look at the beast

| Old bnb update - update 7:
so after having a fair few dramas past couple weeks at dr drift hq where i was was working at, me and dave decided to go our seperate ways, i dont think he liked the fact me and his daughter didnt work out also he wasnt happy that i had sent the rx-3 to 6.siks.6 to be painted, even though i done it myself at 6.siks.6 (but he doesnt know that ), anyways we decided to go our seperate ways, so straight away i rang a good mate phatballer who was also my next door neighbour :)he is owner of 6.siks.6 and i asked if he had any room for me to work there,so we chatted for a bit n he decided yes and explained we would use our garages as a base for 6.siks.6 we both have double garage's and between our houses there is more than enough parking space for customer cars and meets etc, so i offered my garages as the tuning mechanical side of things as i already have a dyno machine in there but will also use it for parts storage, installation etc, and most likely phatballer's garages will be used for painting and bodywork etc, as he has all the goods for that. so now that work was sorted and i had moved everthing back from my old work to home where i now would be working from, it was time to look around for a decent engine for my rx-3 the 12a in it was just lacking to much power. So after searching around i found a bloke who was wrecking a rx-7 completely smashed in the rear, which had a beautiful stock 13B-rew which was phresh as so after chatting and doing a bit of haggling i handed him the cash and rang up to organise transport for it, upon arguing with the person on the phone about them having no vans available for a quick transport, a bloke tapped me on the shoulder and asked where i would like to have it transported to, i let him know that i lived in beaumont and wanted it there and almost straight away he offered to drop it off for me right now if i wanted to follow him, so of course i accepted then it was a matter of just following him to mine after getting to mine and getting the engine out of the van it was almost immediately put onto the engine stand for inspection, after giving it a thorough service and that, it was out with the stock 12a, and in with the phresh 13B-REW after tooling around with it for a while finally got it kicked over and almost immediately put it on the dyno for a tune, it was pushing the stock 195kw, with a nice 294.2nm of torque, took it out for a spin and with a stock 4speed gearbox now it will happily snap 3rd gear if i want it to but still am far from finished with it heres a quick pic i snapped while out on the first cruise with the phresh engine,

so past couple of days in between work and other stuff i have been in contact with the junkyard to see what projects they had lying around, bloke on the phone tells me he has a 67 vw beetle sitting there at first i thought no way, it would be a moneypit but after getting a few photos sent over it actually looked alright, someone had done a decent job starting to restore it as it had a front cut off a different beetle welded on which hadnt been painted still in primer, but was put on perfect all the welds were smoothed over, it also had new tailights i presume from another beetle as they arent in production anymore, anyways i thought maybe with some paint and a lil tlc it would make a great daily or weekender, so we chatted for a while and we ended up coming to an agreement that he would deliver it to my house for 8k if i wanted, so with the cash sitting there ready it was pretty much a done deal i told him to drop it off whenever he had a chance, - Thursday:
so the next day comes and while i was out in the garage dyno tuning the rx-3, i hear a truck pull up the alley, i thought it would be maybe someone moving out, but it was my beetle on the back of the tow truck, i was stoked i didnt expect to see it so soon, first thing i noticed about it was damn it is low as hell, it was a PITA to get off the tow truck, i thought for sure someones chopped up the suspension to make it sit low as possible and just stuck a tein suspension sticker on it for looks, but upon getting it into the garage and inspecting underneath it for rust n stuff i found no rust, but sitting in there holding the chassis so low was a set of customised tein fully adjustable coilovers front and rear i was like OMG how could someone junk this project, then upon taking the front wheel off to replace a flat tyre i found a beautiful harrop big brake package also installed, i was happy as at this point although i still had to organise an engine for it, which the junkyard bloke let me know where i might be able to find one, anyways with the beetle finally resting out the front of home waiting for some attention, and it being tea time i though id just call it a day and head inside and get up fresh n early tommorow to run around looking for an engine and organising bits n pieces for it, i did however slap a bnb sticker on it as i had to make it truly mine lol anyway heres a few quick pics i snapped of it

| Old bnb updateFRIDAY: - Spoiler:
so while i was online the other night trying to track down an engine for the beetle i came across an ad which had a smashed smashed scirocco r available for wrecking, so i made the call enquired about the engine and before i knew it i was on my way to have a look at what the engine was like, i grabbed my keys to the S-15 as it was feeling a little unloved lately, saw phatty on the way out told him to keep an eye on the house as i had to rush out for a while. So i cruised down there and we spoke for a little bit about the engine, and what sort of deal we could come to since id be a regular customer from now on considering i own my beetle, we came to an agreement on the 2.0l TSI engine, so i told him i would be back tommorrow to pick it up with a car more suitable to transport it as there was no way i was putting that dirty engine near my S-15. so i was casually driving the S-15 back home and out of nowhere some young douche came flying around the corner in what i presume was mummy and daddys nice new bmw, he lost control almost instantly upon entry and ran into two other cars travelling on the opposite side of the road causing me to swerve and hit a nice big thick powerpole, i thought it was the end of my S-15 i got out of the car in a total rage immediately ran over to the bmw and dragged the young kid out by the scruff of his neck he immediately started crying screaming that his dad was going to kill him as he had just bought the car new. I couldnt hit the poor kid he was alreay going to cop it off his parents, i felt sorry for him as i know that feeling all to well. i looked over at the bmw and it was certain that it was a write off, i told him not to worry bout it and that it would all get sorted soon enough, 5 minutes later his dad pulled up and got out nearly crying at the sight of his brand new car wrecked, his dad came over to me and asked if i was gonna lay charges and i replied i wont as long as i get re-imbursed for my car, his reply was dont worry i will have the car fixed better than new he seemed like a genuine guy so i took his number and said ill be in touch. anyways after what turned out to be a stressful day i finally arrived home in a taxi with the s-15 following closely on the tow truck, and once home decided i might as well give the S-15 some tlc i couldnt stand seeing it in that poor state. So online i went ordering parts from my supplier all overnight delivery so that i could get straight to work in the morning on the S-15, heres a pic of the S-15 after i got it home after the accident.

| Old bnb updateSATURDAY - Spoiler:
my eyes opened n things were still a as i lay in bed n hear a banging at the door and all i could think was come back when i have had more sleep, but all of a sudden i realised it was my overnight parts order i rushed up out of bed and ran to the door half dressed swung it open and there she was the damn finest delivery girl i had ever seen before and the uniform only made it better, nice tight black pants with a button up shirt which was half unbuttoned, my jaw dropped and i had just realised i was barely dressed so i told her to wait a minute while i put my trackies n that on so i could come check the parts she had for me, we had a little chat about the s-15 while we looked over my order and checked it all was ok, she had also mentioned she had a 240sx which was in pretty poor condition so i gave her my number and told her to bring it by sometime and i would have a look at it for her see what we can do with it she turns to me and says i will call either way so what a great start to my day that was, so after a hard day teatime had rolled around after what felt like forever fixing the front of the s15 and adding a few nice bits to it getting it ready for paint n what not, so with the day done it was time to order a pizza and relax i was that tired i just fell asleep on the couch watching tv,
SUNDAY - Spoiler:
waking from my slumber i hear the phone ringing its my volkswagen go to guy he informs me that he has the perfect powerplant for my beetle a 2.0l TSI scirocco R engine and even a set of wheels to suit if i needed them, we talked price for a while then i told him that i would be busy painting the s-15 until late hours of the night so if he could drop it all off in my garage and id leave him the cash so with that organised and the s15 ready for paint i rolled it over to phattys joint as its well equipped to paint the cars rolled it in and got straight into it with the beautiful standard gunmetal colour it was coming up perfectly i even decided to sit it on stands while i wrapped the cRkai's in a sexy matte black and threw in a set of tein fully adjustable coilovers to make it sit with some stance, so now the finished product reveal i added custom front vents, a full kit, the coilovers and a few stickers, came up exacly the way i wanted it to, so with that done i just went inside had leftover pizza and went to bed
MONDAY - Spoiler:
awoke nice n fresh before my alarm or phone even had a chance to go off today and straight away it was into the overalls as i had a nice beetle sitting there with a engine ready to go in and a nice set of 17inch weld aluma-star drag race 2.0 rims with ok tread to bolt on. so after changing all the oils filters etc and giving the engine good check over it was time to see how it would go fitting into the beetle and with the kit i was supplied it was a perfect fit so after relocating a few mounting places and welding a few bits together for extra strength i bolted the engine up with not much room to spare and spent an ungodly few hours running wires and hooking everything up right it was a pain but then with the one turn of that key it kicked over first shot n was all suddenly worth it now so after putting the wheels on and finishing up it wasnt to late to take it out so i went for a quick spin to see how it went n boy was it an improvement over any stock beetle i had driven previously the suspension in it was perfectly balanced, and it would pull up on a dime if i really wanted it to all i could think was im going to have so much fun hardparking this beast, so with it getting pretty dark i decided to head back home n relax maybe order some chinese n see what i can do about organising new tyres for the beetle maybe a visit to lsh in carson is in order i remember thinking before i fell asleep watching tv, heres a quick pic i snapped while i was out giving the beetle a test

| Old bnb updateso had a busy week this week but an update none the less, - FRIDAY:
on a not so early morning i decided with a bit of the mechanical work picking up i thought it would be time to start looking around for an actual shopfront since i had no more room out the front for cars to park safely overnight and it was getting a bit cluttered with parts n stuff. While out looking around i thought to myself geez i need new tyres asap as the ones on the beetle were rubbish it was sliding everywhere and the rim itself had a fairly nasty dint in it from hitting a gutter earlier on, it wasnt to bad so i limped the bug into carson and rolled on into lsh wheels on arrival i loved the layout of the shop and saw a sexy boss 302 sitting in the car park, so i walked in and straight away was greeted with a smile and a handshake "coty" introduced himself and we spoke about the cars for a bit and then after talking tyres and prices rolled the beetle in for some new sport tyres and a rim repair so while they worked there magic on the beetle i had a browse over the shop looking at there previous work and gotta say i was mighty impressed with there finishing abilities, i may just have to become a regular customer here i think, so after the beetle was done i rolled it out front for a few pics and i could not even tell which wheel had been re-rolled and repaired so after that being done i shook coty's hand thanked the guys at lsh and told them i would definantly be back there in the future so after giving the clutch a nice pop on the way out it was now time to go get some dinner and head home to relax, while i was cruising out of carson i spotted a nice shopfront with a big for sale sign out front and it was in a perfect location so i got home made a call that night and spoke to the owner about coming down to the buisness tomorrow to talk price's with me even though the shop was closed, he agreed so with all that done it was time to relax with a beer or two and some dinner and get an early night's sleep.heres a few pics that were snapped at lsh heres one a random took so i got him to send it over to me - Spoiler:
here's one i got after the new tyres were fitted, the front rim used to have a dint but lsh fixed that - Spoiler:
and i received this on my mobile from a random number shortly after leaving lsh i didnt realise anyone was looking - Spoiler:
- SATURDAY:
so after getting barely 2 hours sleep the night before i awoke to a buzzing alarm sound and immediately jumped to my feet i was to excited and had a great feeling about today's venture, so after having a shower and suiting up it was time to roll the bug out so i could go to my buisness meeting i had rolled up about 15 minutes early to make sure i was on time and the guy was already there he had just started opening up to show me the place, so as we were walking and talking bout why he was selling up he simply turned and said its time to retire for me im to old for this S$#T, lol my old man was the same when he had retired from the trade, he stated to me that he didnt want to much for the buisness as it had died off a bit lately and was in need of a revamp which i told him i would most likely change everything and making it into a performance shop/service centre,he was thrilled at the idea and told me if he were younger he would be doing the same thing, i told him i would happily take it for his asking price as i had a lil left in the bank from a previous venture, so after having an accountant come down n draw up the paperwork it was done deal i was now owner of slideworx performance part's and service centre in south carson all i had to do was register my buisness name and it was official, now the place is huge two shopfronts one on the left is currently going to be used as a customer car park and parts store temporarily, the one on the right as you will see is where all the dirty work gets done service parts installation etc and here it is slideworx performance parts and service centre south carson REVEALED
- SLIDEWORX:
the performance/service side of things - SLIDEWORX:
so with all that done all that was left to do was move the tools dyno and everything from home to the shop and get settled in, all i needed was a moving van or a truck so with the day pretty much done i headed off home and that night i sat there n thought a bit about who i could get to give me a hand moving some stuff to the new garage hmmm???
- SUNDAY:
so after waking up dazed and confused a bit on the couch after falling asleep the night before just after knocking up a few vinyls for the new buisness i look out at the rx-3 and it was only just sinking in that i actually own a proper buisness now the feeling was surreal. i had to get things organised so i could open tommorow as i wasnt holding off on opening up the shop, so after having a coffee i tried to call illarnek on the mobile as he said he would lend a hand moving all the tool's dyno etc but there was no answer so i just assumed he was busy moving his stuff n couldnt talk so i rang "man with a van moving company" and got a van out asap to start moving all the stuff there so i could set-up and get ready for opening which was the next morning, so the van rocked up at home and we packed it up as quick as possible and made the trip down to south carson to start getting everything set-up i ended up taking out the rx-3 as it had been a while since starting it up plus it was sporting the new buisness vinyl,so i buzzed down there with the van not far behind and after opening all the doors to air the place out, cleaning up a heap and setting up a few things, it was pretty much done minus a few small little things to do I decided i might as well fire up the bbq n cook some lunch. a few of the locals walking past noticed what was going on so they stopped by to look at the shop n how we were setting up n stuff so after being a good sport and cooking some lunch for everyone we all took a walk through to show them. There were a few oohh's and ahh's as they walked around noticing that i had cleaned the place up a fair bit and added some extra tool's and machines to the place, the dyno machine was the main attraction as it was the best addition to the shop i thought and was essential to my performance/tuning side of the buisness, so as a show i reversed the rx-3 up and strapped it on for a quick run it made a comfortable 218kw with 328.5nm of torque at the wheels on only 10psi i couldnt wait to give it some more tlc, so with the day almost done everyone started heading off i decided i would finish setting up parts etc during the week when i had the time but for now it was time to close up n head home to bed as i had a very early start in the morning pic of the rx3 i took before putting it on the dyno ;P - Spoiler:
and one i snapped as i was leaving at the end of the day - shop pic:

| Old bnb update - MONDAY (grand opening of slideworks):
So awakening after what turned out to be a fairly long night of getting up n down. I got up had a shower, got dressed had a coffee and was off to open slideworks in south carson for its first day of buisness, nothing much was planned on the work side of things so i thought today would be a great opportunity to get the parts inventory and sales up n going. so i jumped in the S15 n warmed it up while i finished my morning coffee and ciggarette then it was time to head down and open up the shop, so i cruised on down there in the S15 and parked it out front and started to open everything up when all of a sudden i hear a thundering roar of coty's boss 302 it flew past the shop, he must have been running late for work, I thought i might go up n see him n the guys at lsh wheels once everything is up n going just to pop in and say hi to everyone. But for now i had alot of paperwork n stuff to do on top of working out a budget for the parts stock i will hold, not to mention i still had to hire someone to help around both the service and installation shop as well as the parts department and i only want to hire one person it was a big position to fill and an even bigger decision to make on who to hire to do it. so i placed an ad online for experienced mechanic/spare parts interpreter required. Then went and started sorting out my parts inventory and trade account's. About 2.00pm illarnek popped by in his neat as lil 240sx to apologise for not answering his phone when i was moving as well as say hi and give the workshop a look,i explained that its all good these things happen as i showed him around the new shop a bit while i wasnt so busy, after that i explained that he could come back past anytime to order parts he needed or even to get some work done he seemed pretty happy with it so after saying goodbye we shook hands and he left giving the clutch a nice kick on the way out, so with the day almost done and the parts department neatly organised for now, it was time to shut the doors for the first day and head home as i was starving for a feed so i hopped in the s15 after locking everything up i jumped in and slowly cruised home on the way i saw a sexy red 240sx sitting there for sale out the front of kru's house was way to tired to stop in at that time so i thought i might pop by sometime during the week to have a look at it, upon pulling into the driveway at home i was thinking to myself geez that 240 would look good sitting in my driveway, might have to make an offer, so with all that done and dinner all finished it was getting late and i needed sleep. heres a pic i snapped of the S-15 sittin pretty at slideworx- S-15:

| Latest bnb update- update:
slideworx has been really busy lately with organising day to day duties and doing customer cars on top of that, i think its time to hire some outside help i may have to place an ad in the bnb classifieds, but either way i had alot of work to do to keep this place going, i rang up placed an ad, then continued on working on the latest customer car only a dodgy little focus which needed new brakes and a tune up. looking at the s-15 sitting at the front i decided i would head down n grab some lunch so i hopped in n headed down to jimmy's burgers to get me some grub while i was there a friendly bloke walked in to order in front of me i noticed he had a pretty sweet 98 supra sittin out front, i turned to him n said hey nice ride he introduced himself as tiger n said yeah thats a nice 15 as well. i then turned to him and said if your a local we should def have a cruise one day be a good chance to bring the 15 out to play with some other jdm rides. so with all that done it was time to get back to work n see what else there was to do back there, got back n still had no enquiries about my ad in the paper, so i just continued on with my work i currently had a sweet sheriffs ride in for a few lil mods and a dyno tune, also noticed he had been past lsh wheels as it had a great set of wheels n tyres on it which looked fairly new, the sheriff was pretty nice n laid back he just dropped it off n left so i jumped straight on it got the work done it wasnt long before it was sitting there ready for pickup with all the days work done it was time to close up n head home, the sheriff was wrapped with his car when he picked it up he said he would be bringing it back here for regular servicing and maintenance which i was happy with, so heading home in the 15 i stopped n got some dinner, then got home parked up the S15 and headed inside i was absolutely hammered all this work was finally getting to me i def needed to hire help at slideworx asap. but enough thinking about that time for bed.,

| time for an update, - Friday:
so with this week being decently busy at slideworx i got up on the friday expecting more work to roll in but finally i was given a break there were no cars booked for today. so i thought i would clean up n get some things back in order. i was already expecting a parts order to come in soon which was just to restock the shelves. also i had decided earlier in the week that the name of the buisness wasnt attracting enough customers so it was time to change that up, i was just about to ring up and see what names were available when i heard the lumpiest rumble pull up out front, it was a bloke in his 57 chev bel air which looked to have some serious work done to it as well it was a real head turner then he popped the hood and there it was a C6 ZR1 twin turbo corvette engine it looked like it had found a perfect home underneath the bonnet of the chev, i turned to the bloke and asked him what he needed he was just looking to turn the boost up and retune the computer as it was coming off its run in tune he still wanted to keep it reasonably safe though i told him id be happy to do it so he left it with me for the day n i got it on the dyno gave it a test run then plugged in the handheld ecu and started toying with it a bit after toying with the rev range and boost and boost a bit i gave it another run it pushed out 725hp @5000rpm on 20psi of boost with a staggering torque figure of 650lb-ft to push it along so with that being done i gave him a call to let him know his car was ready to pick up. he got to the shop and immediately wanted to go for a test drive after i showed him the new dyno sheet, so after the bloke had paid for it all he jumped in it i grabbed the camera out quickly to get some snaps as he was leaving. lets just say he wasnt afraid to use the power it had as he absolutely stomped on the gas pedal as he was leaving. so with the day almost over i decided it would be best to close up shop grab some dinner n head home to bed there was no work on tommorow but i still had an early start. TBC heres the pics of the 57 that came in today- 57 Chevy:
- Saturday:
so waking up the next morning bright and early i remembered that i had to change the buisness name and something had come to me while i was having a coffee so i rang up to see if the name was available and it was so i took it up straight away, with all that done i rang up and hired a signwriter to come down to do the sign at the shop while i redone the cars with the new shop logos i got down there an opened up the front door of the shop parked the rx-3 in the bay and started prepping it for the new logo's to go on, 5 minutes later the signwriter rocked up and had all the signs with him already made as i emailed a copy of it earlier that morning, so we both got to work i quickly done the logos n stuff on the rx-3 then shot off to go grab the beetle n get that done next he was still doing the sign when i left i told him to take a break n get some lunch n id be back in ten or so, so i got home n picked up the beetle and i was off again got back to the shop after what only seemed like 15 minutes n couldnt beleive my eyes my sign was done and it looked sweet as it would def be bringing in the customers now , INTRODUCING - Chaser's motorworks carson division:
so after paying the signwriter for his time n giving him a little extra on the side for working a saturday for me, i got down to finishing off applying logo's to the beetle and before i knew it was dark outside so with all that done i decided it would be time to close up shop n head home for the day got home didnt even get a chance to eat as i fell asleep browsing the web for a new work horse TBC pics of the cars after the new logos were applied- 67 beetle:
- RX-3 pics:
- Sunday:
so after waking up with a decent headache from falling asleep at the computer browsing for cars again i jumped in the shower got dressed and warmed up the 15 while i had a coffee and a smoke on the porch to start my day weather was looking great already so i hopped in the s-15 headed down to chasers so i could roll the s-15 in for some treatment i was doing the logo's on it last as i had something special in store for it so i rolled it in and started preping the whole body giving it a nice wash then going over with wax n grease remover, after that was done it was time to apply all this vinyl work that i had cut for it, after a good couple of hours mucking about it was all done and i was absolutely starved, then i remembered i didnt have to wait to go get food i could take the s-15 out now n get it so i proudly jumped in the s-15 rolled it out of the shop locked up and took off to get some food and snap some pics up the road was billys burgers so i made a stop there remembering that usually the tuners stop past there and the burgers were good to i didnt see anyone around i knew which was odd as usually i see everyone around but oh well jumped back in the 15 after taking a quick pic then took off, after stopping at multiple other places and taking some pics it was getting dark so it was time to head home as it was back to work tommorow, which i was still stressing about finding a permanent worker and getting a work ute for the shop, but all good things come to those who wait i kept thinking so after locking the cars up and winding down with a bit of car browsing on ebay it was time for bed, TBC heres some pics i took of the s-15- S-15 photoshoot:
might add a new ride soon... thanks for reading | |

| cheers kru, im wanting to include more people in it but not to sure on how to btw kru that pic of you that's pimpin mang anyways time for an update again - Friday:
so with a quiet week at the shop on the mechanical side of things n not much going on besides parts sales a few dyno tunes and servicing. i decided to get some parts in order i had a stock order rock up during the week and still had not got around to checking it off and putting it away, so after doing that and making the parts side of things all nice again, i get a phone call from the junkyard saying that they are sending my new car over on a truck and need an address, I thought to myself What the hell i didnt buy any cars and then the penny dropped i had bidded on a subaru brz shell earlier in the week as the price on it was unbeleivable even for a stock shell $10,500 and all it needed was a motor and a clean out as it was dusty as, i just assumed i would have got out bidded straight away as it was going way to cheap. so with there not being much room at home in the garage i had it towed straight to the shop for some tlc so after about an hour or so wait it finally arrived and someone had even given it a once over with a hose as it wasnt that dusty anymore i thanked the tow truck driver we got it off the truck and he was off. i rolled the brz into the shop and almost immediately after just looking at it in its stock form my mind started ticking over with idea's on the potential of this car there was so many different ways i could go with it, i was already decided on a motor for it i just had to source one from somewhere and after making a few calls i found out i could get a new crate motor for $5,400 so it was a done deal the stock motor for it would be here tommorow and i could get to work on it then hopefully, so after prepping the brz for the engine to go in n getting everything ready for tommorow, it was getting a bit late and i decided that it was time to lock it all up and head off home grabbing a bite to eat on the way.TBC few pics of the brz

so after having a fairly busy weekend putting an engine into the BRZ and getting it ready to sit out front for sale to some lucky buyer, the brz was pretty much new now and would literally sell itself after a while i just had to wait. so after doing all that between servicing and dyno tunes it ended up rolling around to thursday pretty quick. and it wasnt very busy at work now so i decided to hop online and check what was up for grabs and ended up in a bidding war for a 2012 Camaro ZL1, i saw it and wanted it so bad even more so because it had no engine in it and i thought to myself straight away i could easily fit a LS9 supercharged V8 and i could even order one from chev soon as i knew the camaro shell was mine. so after i had secured the camaro i rang up chevrolet colorado which was the major chev parts supplier for majority of colorado and spoke to a great bloke named jo there and he helped me track down one of the last LS9 turn key crate motors in stock i would have had to wait weeks for one otherwise, so with it all getting delivered to the shop i could now relax knowing that when i got back to work tommorow it would hopefully not be far away so after fooling around a bit at the shop getting everything ready for tommorows work i locked it all up heading home in the S15 i saw dragz in his evo out cruising the evo was lookin pretty good in what was left of the sunlight so after getting home i gave the S15 a quick scrub before enjoying a beer and some Tv before bed.BRZ ready For Sale
- Friday:
so waking up this morning was quiet easy considering i knew i had a new daily on the way to me i was itching to start on it so i warmed up the beetle and headed down to chasers carson opened it all up and there was no sign of any camaro anywhere lol, so with that being the case i decided i would roll the beetle in for some fancy vinyl wrapping while i waited for the shell and engine to arrive, few hours passed by and i had just finished wrapping one of the doors when i hear a truck pull up out front, so i got up headed out front and it was my crate engine I was stoked when i seen it, we got it off the truck placed it in the bay the camaro would be worked on then i signed for it and the driver left, i got the engine onto the stand and it was pretty much ready to drop straight in the camaro, provided they had supplied me with the right engine mounts, so i got back around to finishing wrapping the beetle and it was getting late all i could think was damn my camaro aint gonna get here today, then as i was just about to close up shop the tow truck arrived and on it , you guessed it my 2012 camaro ZL1 shell, we got it off the truck i snapped a quick pic as it was getting dark, i signed for the driver and he left again I take it he was eager to get home as he didnt talk much, i rolled the camaro into the shop and locked it all up figuring i would just come back and work on the camaro tommorow as nothing was booked in so i got home parked up the beetle out front and went in and relaxed with a beer and some dinnernew wrap for the beetle the camaro shell
- Saturday:
so the alarm buzzes and i drag mysef out of bed i was still hella tired so i jumped in the shower and remembering while i was in there that i had to go do the camaro so i hopped out got dressed went out and warmed up the rx-3 had to jump start it as it had a flat battery from sitting there so buzzing on down to work i got there only opened a small portion of it up as i would only be doin the camaro today and it was an easy enough job as i had the turn key crate motor sitting there just dying to go in , so i got to work pulling the hood off the camaro so i could easily angle the motor and gearbox in once they were mated together so after mucking about bolting the trans up to the engine and making sure it was all done properly it was time to get the engine and box onto the engine hoist after placing a heap of rags in the engine bay so as not to scratch the nice paintwork, it was now time to settle this sexy LS9 into its new home it went in pretty well with it all being chev not much needed to be changed besides the loom needed to be chopped n changed in a few places a bit to suit the new engine as well as the different cpu and engine mounts, it was easy work, but as you know time flies as well when your having fun and before you knew it , i was done the engine was in it was all primed and ready to go so it was time to turn the key and give it its first kick in the guts, and after a few kicks it turned over and ran nice and smooth straight away, iv never had a problem working on a V8 and now i finally had one for a daily, i threw it on the dyno to see what it was making in its standard form and it was spot on which what i was told to expect from the supplier when i ordered it, it was making an amazing 638hp with 604 lbf·ft not bad for a factory modified ls3 i was very happy with it so i decided to take it for a quick test drive just up the road make sure it was all working right i jumped in turned the stereo off and all i could hear was beautiful whine from that Eaton TVS R2300 roots 4-lobe supercharger i pulled out of the shop started putting my foot into a and almost immediately the torque started shredding the 315's that were on the back of it i had a feeling that i would go through alot of tyres with this car, so i quickly went past the factories in carson went out back and had a lil fun throwing the camaro around, after getting back to shop i was very happy with the camaro and it was running soo smooth so i locked up the rx3 in the shop as it was getting late and decided i would drive the camaro back home as it was going to be the daily from now on and would give me a chance to finish the S-15 maybe. TBCsittin pretty at the front of chasers carson. havin some fun at the factories cruisin home

| so the following friday had rocked around it was time for another update - Friday:
so it was friday again pretty quiet at chaser's and i realised sometime during the week which got me down a little. I had dumped all my money into cars i wouldnt get to use and didnt have enough to finish some ongoing projects, so i had to list the camaro up for sale as well as the brz i just didnt have the time to do what i wanted to do with them as i wanted to get the S-15 ready for some of these late night drift meets i had heard of as well as finish off the rx-3, so after giving them both a nice wash and sitting them out the front of chaser's with for sale signs on them it was time to wait for some enquiries, i heard a car pull up in the background just as i had finished and a bloke gets out and introduces himself as chris aka XCBEX he had a evo 6 lancer and it was looking pretty sweet from what i could see, i thought he was here to enquire about one of the cars, but as it turns out we chatted for a bit bout cars and what not also that he was looking for some work if there was any available, i told him i was looking for someone to help out as a mechanic and with the parts side of things a bit as well but i would have to see how a trial went first, so i told him he could start tommorow if he liked and he agreed to it straight away so i showed him around the shop a bit and he was pretty impressed with the setup that was available we spoke for a bit after finally another set of hands in the shop which meant i could take on a lil more work as well, it that and then he was off said he would catch me in the morning. so with that done i was pretty happy again, it was getting late by this time ,so with everything pretty much done for the day, i locked up the shop and slowly cruised home grabbing some food on the way, got home and after eating decided i was to stuffed to do anything else so i went to bed.
