| This will be the first time I go to an FD event lol, is anyone else going? I'm thinking about buying/renting a camera, but know nothing about them as far as lens and stuff like that go. I'd like one that can capture good video, but doesn't cost a lot. Any ideas? Somewhere between $100-$200. | |

| I suppose you can probably find a decent used D/SLR camera off Ebay? | |

| You aren't going to find a good zoom camera for 200. DSLR is a term for good cameras. haha. There are DSLR (Hobbiest/Pros) and the point n shoot (people who just want some photos) [Think wheel and controller] DSLR will produce much better photos (camera and lenses dependent) but point n shoots are easier to use. $450 worth of camera (Nikon D3000). $350(ish) worth of camera (Fujifilm S2 Pro) My old Fujifilm can't keep up with today's sensors. All the photos may look nice, but newer cameras are way better in technology and they can do things my fujifilm will never be able to do. That Klutch wheels shot is probably my best photo I've ever taken. Everything is perfect about it. Not only getting a good camera makes good photos remember, a good cook didn't make your steak well because the oven was awesome. | |

| What's a good zoom to have on a camera? I saw one with 60x and a few others ranging from 14-40x. | |

| How far it looks, you'll need something that zooms about 200mm. Idk how far that is for point and shoot, but it's a long ways. You may not get any good action shots with a point and shoot because most of them are going to be digital zoom, which is awful. | |
