Ordered the first round of parts last night. Bearings. Seals. Rod bolts. Bottom end gaskets. Cam and lifters. Timing chain. Oil pump Half it should be here Tuesday

I can't wait to make tire smoke lol. We're building it to rev maybe 6k rpm. The cams operation range tops 5500. The tip doesn't rev well above 5500 anyway. On third gen.org there was a 700hp pro charged tpi 355. The owner said it felt like hitting a brick wall at 40mph when it hit 6000rpm

It's gonna be a torque monster. Great auto cross car. And eventually do track days

nothings really happened really busy and have no cash. when i get some money saved im buying aluminum heads, roller rockers, hardened push rods, fabricated valve coveres, and water pump

today we were gonna tear the bottom end apart and wash/paint the block but ran out of time theres always next weekend.

ordering aluminum heads, roller rockers, hardened pushrods, aluminum radiator, gaskets with head bolts, rocker studs and other misc parts.. also flywheel, harmonic balancer, and pushrod guid plates all my money gone lol

Makes sure to get the rocker studs in correctly. The 383 we built had faulty rocker studs and well, it dropped valves :/

That sucks. We're ordering ARP studs. I hope everything goes together smooth

Just make sure they get seated nice and tight.
