| a quick list of what I need before engine can go in the car
harmonic balancer, belts, pullys, headers, rad hoses, plugs/wires, air intake, flywheel, clutch, maybe a trans crossmember, if so then im getting poly engine/trans mounts, Y pipe and a new cat-converter..
that's another $1200 order right there just so the car runs lol

| price of car - $1500 parts for bottom end rebuild - $500 parts for top end rebuild - $1200
so far roughly $3200 including the car. with another ~$1200 just to get it running..
plans for the car in the future:
built 10 bolt rearend T56 swap (after the T5 breaks) corvette brakes shitton of suspension mild cage/remove rear seats/racing buckets with harness bodywork and paint the same colors as the car is now, and factory stickers
alottt of money left to go.. I wouldn't doubt if that's a $10k list of parts lol

| 4400 aint bad for a car with a basically new amped up engine lol.
and i'm guessing the order after the engine is: brakes, T56, suspension, 10 bolt, then cage and body?
10k doesnt seem bad to me, i'm looking at around 20k+ on my list for the year depending on how extensively i decide to build the engine. but i don't plan on starting till summer

| the order I hope its gonna be in is, rear end with brakes (the car has rear drums ATM, when I do the rear end im swapping to disc brake rear. then suspension. then T56 unless the T5 decides to say f*ck you before that can happen. lol.. cage/interior and body will be last
im trying to find a way to get a aggressive track car out of this thing yet being able to keep AC/heat, full interior, all metal body. and being tame enough to daily drive during the summer.

| Nitrous is for pussies. If I can afford it the last thing I do is a 6.0 LS truck engine built to a high compression 408 stroker | |

| Shorties. Cuz I can run a stock style Y pipe so I can re use my 3" catback. And the engine is built for torque. Shortie headers help with low to mid range power and torqeu | |

| If I wanted to build my own exhaust and had the tools. I would run long tubes. But for the same of simplicity. And sale of re using a $500. Flowmaster exhaust lol | |

| Shorties with flowmaster 40 series and turn downs. Sounds pretty beast. You should win the lottery and do a 432 small block build out of a late model dirt car lol 950hp all motor at 8,500 rpm. SWEG | |

| I was saying that setup sounds good. Running them all the way to the back sounds good too but if you are wanting more low and middle torque, think about turndowns. Cuts back on backpressure. I was looking for the lulz today at chevy crate engines and there are some awesome deals out there from them. 372 LSX for $9,500 with 600hp and 640 torque and ready for boost. | |

| So if anyone's still interested in this. I'm buying a new rear end for the TA on Sunday.
Mines a 10 bolt. Not sure if it's posi. 2.73 gear. And drum brakes. Eck.
I'm buying my buddies old rear out of his Z28. Both our cars started as 5.0/auto cars. But his is a posi 10 bolt. Disc brakes. And 2.73 gear. To be swapped out for a 3.42 and a C-clip eleminator before going in the car
