I've got to say that the Rotary is a revolutionary engine but all time has to go too the Nissan SR's. They just got better and better and better with every single variation they created. Plus it's been said to be the most swapped engine next to the 2JZ and GTI Golf engines!

And it's so hard to chose, maybe SR20DET, because the fact that its hard to find a 4 cyl turbo more popular. It's a great base for a build and the aftermarket support is huge and mainly cheap. They can also handle a lot of power (in some cases, up to 150hp per cylinder!)

I can also see the reasoning for LS series engine. It's a great engine and the $ to hp ratio is legitly awesome. Really strong too, and has a great aftermarket support also

Same for the JZs......

Its all preference, and how you want your car to be, but buy what makes you happy

Chevy 350 4 bolt main. Hands down for me. So many configurations, so easy to obtain and maintain. Can be 200hp or over 1000hp.

but lets face it any dodge motor packing around 7 liters is a f*cking good motor  

the orginal 426 from the 60's-70's didnt have the magnum designation.
